Voice damage after radiation: Will my voice recover?
I had esophageal adenocarcinoma stage 4 with no surgical option available. I had chemo and 25 days of radiation. My voice was a bit rough before the radiation began, but the radiation did a number on me. When I speak, I feel the muscles in my throat going into overdrive, and my voice is breathier than it used to be, and it's been like this for two years.
Will my voice ever recover? Is there anything I can do to facilitate recovery?

@at78rpm, have you worked with a speech language pathologist to help improve your voice?
