Visceral hypersensitivity in esophagus
Recently I had an appt at Mayo for my constant esophagus pain for the last three+ years. I was diagnosed with esophagus motility issues and visceral hypersensitivity. I’ve tried more meds than I can count. Anyone else diagnosed with this condition? If so did anything give you relief?

I am going through this right now. I have had esophageal discomfort for close to four years. I've been placed on PPIs, etc. in the past with no relief, I've had repeated tests, EJ surgery, and was recently placed on Voquezna. I'm so relieved to find your post. I'm curious about what, if anything, helped, and what your experience has been like. I've never had discomfort like this before and it impacts so much of what I do. I had one doctor make reference to my age and psyche. Please, I would appreciate it so much if you would reach out to me, I would love to discuss this more. I've never heard of anyone else dealing with this issue. I hope this post finds you much improved.
