This video confirms what I believe ... The doctors don't know how to treat PMR or how to taper steroids. There aren't any precise answers. I don't think we can blame any doctor for things that are unknown. The people who think they know more than they do are the ones that are dangerous,

This is a good video discussion with an international panel of doctors from Australia, Ireland, UK and USA. It is more than an hour long but worth watching if you have time.

I found this video extremely interesting and highly recommend watching. It confirms the many variables that can make GCA/PMR difficult to diagnose, treat, and manage. Thank you for this post Michael. Hopefully there will be some new guidelines for Steroid therapy in the near future.
