Vice grip on both legs with both feet feeling stiff on bottoms.
I have been dealing with a leg, foot and lower back issue for 6 years now. It started with my right foot feeling like I had stepped into glue and it dried on the bottom of my foot. Skin feels very tight. Then about 2 months later, my legs started to get very tight and ache. I seem to have trouble controlling them when I stand or walk. Feel like I walk on outside of or sides of feet. Now both feet stiff and both legs feel like there is a vice being tighten down on them. I have had 3 nerve tests, all ok, a PAD test which was negative, all the Lymes tests that I know exist. I have osteopenia, had a low vit.D count but have found no relieve or a close maybe dx. Anybody else ever experience any thing like this? I have seen 3 Neurologists, a Urologist, a Rheumatoligist, my GYN and 4 General Practice Drs.

Thank you maremouse! WOW! You really did have an allergic reaction to your statin! Good that you quit instead of trying to be a good trooper and tolerate the leg stuff like me. It took me a while to understand that I was ruining my leg nerves by continuing. You are one of the lucky ones quitting before that stupid statin disabled you! This statin business is so ingrained in the medical community, that unless people complain to their doctors, I'm thinking "no change" in doctors recommending them 🙁 . The least they could do is tell you about the side effects before prescribing and tell you to report back if you have them! My PA hates it when I tell him I look stuff up on the Internet (Mayo Clinic is a trust source, as is Harvard Medical) :), but it appears we have to take responsibility for our health, because doctors are falling short these days. And on that topic, it is so disappointing and infuriating that insurance companies now dictate how much time a physician spends with his/her patients!! No kidding! It is disgusting. We are like cattle - get 'em in - get'em out. What is this world coming to!!! Nice to hear from you maremouse. Wishing you the best. d.
