Vaginal cuff?
I am 49 y/o and in the approval process for a hysterectomy due to endometriosis pain. My gynecologist has said that so long as my cervix is not attached to my rectum he will remove it and create a cuff. How did your cuff heal? Did you have to dilate to help it heal? How was sex for you after the healing process was over? Were you left with painful scar tissue? Does your cuff stretch at all during sex or have you had to change how you have sex?

I’m 13 weeks Post OP, I healed perfectly, sex does not hurt. Keep in mind we are all different but I feel if you follow doctors instructions you generally don’t have a problem. There has been a variation in the amount of time to refrain from sex. My oncologist said nothing in the vagina for 12 weeks.

You've had these problems before or after a hysterectomy?
No . Had a rectocele op 2 years ago and havent been right ever since. Have restless legs now must be nerve damage.
Have you tried Gabapentin or Pregabalin for your pain?
Yes but got no sleep. Now on Mirtzpine which is better for sleep.
Have you found anything for pain?
Just take the mirtzapine at night knocks me out.
