Vaginal burning
Is it possible to have neuropathy in the vagina? I am a 67 year old female with no underlying health concerns. I have burning in my vagina and have been to Ob/gyn and urologist. I have had CT, Ulta sound and no unusual findings. I am so uncomfortable. Any help would be most appreciated.

Is avoiding panty liners and not wearing underwear to bed helping? If so, I would do that. If not, try something else.
For the process I suggested, you would only need to wear them at night. I wear panty liners 24/7 because I have a neurogenic bladder with tiny amounts of urine leakage. I don't have yeast infections, irritation to my labia, or any of the things they can cause. Here are two options for cotton breathable panty liners. I hope you figure things out! It takes a lot of experimenting.

Yes, it burns and itches. Sometimes, it’s the labia and other times up inside me. It just wants to make me itch. Not a very good place to get itchy or tingling. I haven’t found anything for it. I test positive for ovarian cancer but when I had my total hysterectomy I was negative. I use compounded estrogen, testosterone cream and the progesterone is a compounded. Pill 250 mgs ER(extended release).
If I find anything I will let you know know.
I’m still wearing liners. My doctor didn’t tell me. Slwwpinng with no underwear drives me crazy. Plus I wear loose fitting shorts two sizes two big. The neuropathy has moved into my bladder and sometimes if I don’t have a liner I get wet. Plus I get sweaty between my legs.

1 ReactionMy experience is that burning in the vaginal area is tied to vaginal or bladder infections, low hormones and sometimes a reaction to vaginal hormones or suppositories.
Trying to pin it down is frequently the problem.
Also, I have noticed that low potassium can cause burning in that area.
To help pin point the problem a dna urine analysis with a vaginal dna analysis plus a hormone test and a serum potassium test can all tell you if you have any problems in those areas that need addressing.
