@dbaslee92, I added your post to the Gynecologic Cancers forum too https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/gynecologic-cancer/
What a shock to hear that you have uterine cancer at 33 years old. It sounds like you were diagnosed at stage 4 when the cancer had already spread to the lungs, liver and brain. Do I have that right? Is this a recent diagnosis? Are you in treatment now?
@dbaslee92
I'm relieved that @colleenyoung added your post to our Gynecologist Cancers support group. Welcome to our group where all of us have experienced a gynecological cancer from Stages 1 to 4.
This is a very difficult diagnosis to hear at such a young age. Can you share more about yourself? I'm wondering too if you have been reading the other discussions in our support group. I know you will receive emotional support from our group. I certainly did when I first joined Mayo Clinic Connect.
Do you have support from your family? What are the treatment plans? How do you feel about working with your current oncologist?
