Urinating post catheter removal

I had my catheter removed last Tuesday, and since then, when i get a full bladder, i get cramps. Is that just bladder spasms? Everything sure feels different after prostate removal, and im sure its the healing process, but it just feels so weird now.

I never had an issue like this and it is not common. You should talk to your urologist about this.

Once you pee, do you still have cramps?

@jeffmarc no, it goes away... it dosent happen all the time, but if i wake up in the middle of the night, it almost feels like bowel movement cramps.
