Urinary sphincter implant and bicycle riding?

Posted by chippydoo @chippydoo, Mar 27 6:57am

Has anyone on the thread had a urinary sphincter implanted? I am curious as the diagram indicates the controller is implanted in the Scrotum sack and wondering if it would interfere with aggressive mountain biking?

Can't advise re bike-riding, though.
Others can.

Specific to riding. I would rather leak and wear the occasional pad when out and about than not ride. Health, fitness, social and quality of life thing.

I had my AUS implanted 5 years ago tomorrow and my dr she said that the cuff below the scrotum in the perineum is where the pressure will be . on the cuff. when you sit on a bicycle seat or motorcycle seat and not to do it. She wasn’t concerned about pressure on the pump in scrotum . So I have heard that some guys will get special seat to ride bikes to keep less pressure on cuff around the urethra.. My dr said no to bicycle or motorcycle so I sold them . Good luck..

If there's a market for it, someone will sell it to ya.
