Upcoming labial adhesions surgery-insight anyone.

I'm not sure I'm in the correct support group with this question but perhaps someone has some insight to pass along. I've had an autoimmune condition, lichen planus, for 25-30 years and feel this could be the all or part of the underlying cause. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering about surgery and recovery. Does this situation reoccur? Thanks.
