Unknown Neuropathy Pain

Posted by vron @vron, 19 hours ago

28 year old, female.
About a year and half ago a noticed a slight tremor in R hand. A few months later I noticed the tremor had picked up so I made an appointment. Shortly after that excruciating nerve pain began in my R arm/hand/wrist/fingers. Slowly over time the nerve pain spread to my legs/hip on R side and now it had take over all my extremities. My extremities become weak. Ive lost the ability to walk more then once. My body spasms uncontrollably sometimes. Painfully. Legs mostly. Blood work only shows inflammation markers. MRI of brain looked good. MRI of back had somethings but was recently told that isn't causing my pain. Nerve study done twice. Tested for Lyme. Everything is coming back good but the pain is absolutely awful. Every minute. Of every day. Regardless of what I do or don't do. I've been told it could be in my head 2x now. I started new therapy. I tried acupuncture. I changed my diet. My soaps. My cleaners. Everything. I have two kids and am half the mom I was. Looking for help. Suggestions. Similar stories. Advice.

Question:
In the past year or so, have there been any major changes in your work or personal living environment?

Hello @vron, So sorry to hear that you have neuropathy pain. I see that you first posted yesterday in another discussion on statin-induced neuropathy and I would like to welcome you to Connect. Are you on any statins or other medications? Have you discussed your symptoms with your doctor?

@johnbishop not sure about the statins. I commented to see if anything came about from their symptoms sense mine are so similar. I am on other medications. I have talked to my doctor about everything. I go back tomorrow so I am prepping for my appointment.
