Unexplained diarrhea,malabsorption,dizziness,feeling faint, confusion

Posted by @ajstaley, Thu, Jan 24 10:21am

Hello,
I’m new here. My symptoms have gotten worst in the last year. I’m sick to my stomach or vomiting or have dry heaves everyday. I have developed food and medicine intolerance. Can only eat maybe small portions of rice and vegetables and plain bread throughout the day. And even then some days I am in the bathroom with diarrhea after eating. My gallbladder was removed some years back. When some of the same symptoms appeared back then. But there is no gallbladder to remove now. I’m losing more and more weight. I have periods of confusion and that’s really scary. The testing MRI’s , CT scans and blood work are coming back negative. My gi doc is repeating the testing with a CT scan of the Brian this time. I doubt she will find it. I’m getting sicker everyday. Really losing hope. I’m glad this website is here. It’s soothing to know I’m not alone. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Does it hurt when you eat? I have the same issues except it also hurts when I eat I get stomach pains when I eat and I can only eat maybe a few bites. I also had my gallbladder removed. Have they tested you for any bacteria or parasites?

Yes. I have stomach pain as well. I have been tested for bacteria that was negative. I am waiting on the results of the parasite test. That should return any day now. Thank you so much for the response.

Are they testing for H pylori? My tests came back negative for those as well but the pain still persists. If you are loosing a bunch of weight like I am try some protein shakes they may help. I can't really keep them down they come out either from vomiting or diahrea but I was told they can help

I had same issues and finally tested positive for C-Diff

The H pylori test was negative as well. I tried some frozen yogurt and was ill for the rest of the day. So afraid to try anything new. It takes everything in me just to function day to day.

They said the c-diff was negative. Did you test positive on the first test?

I feel your pain I tried a protein shake because the doctor said I have to get calories in and I have been sick all day. I am so sorry I really hope they figure out what's going on and can help Us!

Thank you so much for your compassion. I’m sorry to hear that you’re not feeling well either. Let’s pray for a miracle. Just know that I support you in this fight. Feel better.

We really need help and unfortunetly it seems like doctor's don't know what to do for us. It's depressing especially when you have to wait weeks to see someone to maybe get help but maybe not get help

Try to stop eating gluten for 3 days bread ,wheat flour,Barley ,soy made with wheat I didn't test positive for Celiac's disease at first also you are probably allergic to milk and don't know it.

Yes, this so true we need help like yesterday. But we have to keep trying until a door opens. We have no other choice.

Thank you. I will stop the bread and see if it helps. I am lactose intolerant as well. But from time to time I was able to eat a little frozen yogurt for the probiotics. But not now since this illness has kicked in. My body seems to be rejecting just about everything.

I haven't either but people keep recommending those so I was going to ask for advice first because I am afraid to just keep adding things into my body at this point. Seeing as nothing seems to stay in
