How do you carry on with unknown digestive issues from day to day?

Everyone is different on what works for them. So it is important to know what helps and hurts your condition. My husband is diabetic and it seems every drug for diabetes can cause stomach problems (mostly diarrhea) .. and yet for some reason it goes to constipation. He does better during the times I can get him to take a probiotic or eat yogurt. Probiotic supplements or probiotic foods .. such as yogurt or kefir .. is the only other suggestion I have for you. The supplement helps me a lot and watching my diet.

My problem is diarrhea and I'm trying to focus on that mainly. Thank you for your reply.

I have severe upper abdominal pain. It hurts no matter if I am lying down, sitting up or standing. I have had all the imaging tests done and tried all OTC antacids, indigestion, IBS medicines and many prescriptions prescribed by two different GI doctors. Sometimes I wake up with pain but usually it gets bad around 4.

What symptoms do you have .. diarrhea, constipation, cramping, bloating? Where is the pain and what kind of pain .. sharp .. cramping .. dull .. with movement .. after you eat .. when your stomach is empty?

I have sharp pain in my upper abdomen. No diaherra. I do take low dose Linzess for constipation. However, that is not causing my pain. It hurts when I eat or drink anything which is why I have lost 21 pounds.

How do you know its not related to the Linzess which can cause cramping? Did you have the pain before you started taking Linzess?

Hi,

So sorry you have this daily pain. I’m still in the process of figuring out the source of the daily pain. Some say to remove the Gallbladder others say no. I’ve lost weight as well. I’ve been Pushing to keep testing and repeat tests. Second opinions can help too. I’m in the same boat and it’s frustrating. Keep trying to get answers

I honestly don’t know I pray to God for strength and eat in small portions but more frequently with lots of water 40% soluble solids and 60% liquids works kinda for me. I’m still working with my team.
