I have Ulnar Nerve pain on both sides. Electric shocks feel unbearable. What will help?

@sloped483 thanks so much!
This is great information.
I really appreciate it. I will look into all of this and give the egotistical surgeon a call. Haha!
Sorry you have weakness now, and am glad you don’t have the pins and needles anymore.

Stay warm!
Thanks! I do not have weakness . I have electric shocks , like lightning bolts going through my arm and ring & pinky fingers. I went to the chiropractor- but no help. I do stretches snd yoga as well. I will check with my doctors more. It is terrible pain. Nothing i do is helping. Thanks!

@susanblan , so sorry you are having this. I have a friend who has it like that in his legs. I'm trying to determine if it's a trapped nerves in my neck or in my shoulders or from having chronic prediabetes. I've cut out sugars and refined carbs to lower my A1C, but it will take awhile to see results I think. My Dr isn't as much help as my chiropractor at suggesting things for me to try. However, I could ask my Doc to order x-rays or conduction tests.

@greengold

Sounds like sciatica nerve pain that can occur in the legs that emanates from the lower spine.

Thanks!! 😊
You are doing all the good- healthy - right things by cutting out sugars and carbs. Watching your A1C is always the right thing. I do the same thing, but i do need to watch my carbs more! I do not eat much sugar, and it does help to reduce pain!!
That is one easy thing to fix.
Try to get some xrays or MRI of your neck and back- at least it will show you if you have any damage to work on. Maybe even go to a spine specialist. I think some of mine is my neck too, but I need to get it checked. I definitely have something wrong with my Ulnar Nerves. 😟 !
I wonder what nerve is being pinched in your friend’s legs? That is awful.
I am having an MRI of my hand in a few weeks .
