Twitching in upper body (biceps) after axonal, length dependent diagno

Hello, recently diagnosed (Feb 20th) after EMG on left leg with axonal, length-dependent, peripheral neuropathy. Experienced numbness in both feet and twitching in thigh just above knee to start. Twitching now moving to upper body, most noticeable in my left bicep. Also having minor quivering in upper right lip occasionally. Grateful ALS was ruled out but stress still very high. Anyone else experience similar symptoms?

Wyp, something you definitely need to talk to your spinal neurosurgeon or orthopedic spinal surgeon. Typically Biceps are usually caused by the C-5 re goin but can also be caused by other Nerves. The Bicep spasms with other symptoms as well was the start of my journey with C-5 - C-7 fusion. Surgery ended up with bonus issues. Now having issues with the atlantoaxial joint ( between C-1 and C-2 ) . Just waiting to hear what they want to do next. I know it’s hard to not be stressed, just know everything will get better. Try some relaxation techniques and meditation. Helps with stress as well as blood pressure. It’s a long journey but know your not alone on it…David
