Trial Study for Cookie-Bite

Posted by amytxncbhl @amytxncbhl, Mar 11, 2023

Hi. I am new to this and shocked to know I am not the only one with this frustrating rare hearing loss. Nobody in my family has hearing loss. I have multiple disabilities that goes along with being hard of hearing (two ears have a big difference of loss since I was born) and autism (loud sounds makes me insane) and auditory processing disorder. There are issues like fluctuating hearing, tinnitus, possible eustachian tube dysfunction in one ear, and maybe a vestibular issue where loud sounds causes nystagmus and balance thrown off. I do not have a person whom I am supposed to see for all these issues. Last time, I was seen by ENT with a physician assistant that blew me off like nothing is wrong with the hearing other than having a hearing loss. So, I’m missing out of getting help.

Anyways, I wanted to know if there is a trial study for cookie-bite hearing loss?

It is nice to see others in the same boat and I feel like I have too much on my plate of dealing with…

Thanks,
Amy

I am unaware of a trial study on cookie bite hearing loss, but this is a good place to ask that question. If anyone in the forum has information, I hope they will jump into this discussion question.
