I was on Xtandi for 3 months. My PSA started rising and by the 3rd month I needed help to put my jacket on and sometimes needed help to get out of the chair. A few months later after stopping it I was back to normal and needed no help.

Jevtana with Prednisone, 13 rounds and then they tried Pluvicto which failed and Made my PSA go from 1.56 to 20.83 after 3 infusions. I'm back on Jevtana and Carboplatin currently. Just had round 5 this past Wednesday. PSA still dancing and is now at 22, but Jevtana and Carboplatin have slowed the rising.

I get Jevtana and Carboplatin every 3 weeks until further notice as long as my blood work remains good and I can tolerate it. I had 13 rounds of Jevtana before they put me on Pluvicto ( lu 177) last year, which has been approved for use by FDA. It wasn't a clinical trial. It works for most people, unfortunately it didn't for me. I had 3 rounds with little side effects. The problem with Pluvicto is that my PSA was at 1.56 at the start and ended up at 20.83 after the 3rd infusion, doubling each time. I stopped it. Now, they might be using Pluvicto along with another new medicine for a clinical trial, which is a possibility. All I can tell you is what might have not worked for me, may work for you, everyone's DNA is different. Try it out, but remember that you are in charge and make the decisions. Best of luck to you and if you have any questions, I'm here always.

I had bone mets on the back of my neck to the middle of back. Some spots on my rib cage. I had Doxetel back in 2018. The doctor told me that there was no further activity from those areas and that they have healed to a point where they are not bothering me. From my latest scans, I have tracer activity in some new areas, but I have no pain. I mostly suffer from muscle aches and sometimes minor bone pain, but nothing serious. Jevtana is a newer drug that targets prostate cancer cells mostly, leaving the good cells alone. Its not as harsh as Doxetel and my hair didn't fall out. I'm having Carboplatin added to it because this is my 2nd time on it. They tried Pluvicto and it didn't work for me. My PSA doubled, so they put me back on Jevtana with Carboplatin. So far it has slowed the PSA, but it's creeping upward slowly and I'm afraid they're going to have to move onto another medication in the near future.

Your doctor would have to make that decision on what treatment. I had Doxetel first, but at that time Jevtana hadn't been approved. I will be on Jevtana until it fails. I had 13 doses last time and on this new round, 5 so far. I'm 62 and PSA currently at 22.
