By better results do you mean less side effects? I am on Erleada and Zoladex and my PSA is undetectable but I'm tired all the time. What might docetaxel do for me?

Ask your doctor about docetaxel, combination of the 3 shows much better results

I am on Erleada plus Zoladex injections and have the same problem with feeling tired. Sometimes I sleep for 15 hours a day but still feel tired.

Husband starting chemo this week- any advice? He’s still working full time, worried it’s too much

I had to go on disability because I worked for 7up which was a physical job. I had the worst type, aggressive prostate cancer. I worked for awhile after the prosectomy but then found out I had serious bone mets on the back my neck and spine that were crumbling. Many spots on my rib cage. That's when the chemo began and my doctors recommended that I go on disability because of everything. They supplied all the necessary forms and I was approved quickly. Thankfully the Mets on my neck and spine healed thanks to xgeva. I can't lift anything heavy. I ts an ongoing battle but chemo does knock you for a loop. Urinary incontinence is also a problem. Everyone is different but look into everything and decide for yourselves. Good luck.

I’ve been on it 4 months, couldn’t tell any difference when it was added to my Leuprolide and chemotherapy.
