Trapped Sural Nerve

Has anyone had any procedures done for an entrapped sural nerve? My pain doctor did not think nerve release would be a good option as the nerve is so small a surgeon would not be able to see and release it without the possibility of causing more damage. Looking for other options/procedures. I am currently on 75mg Pregabalin 2x daily.
