Tongue hurting after chemo

I had problems with my tongue hurting after chemo. With the help of a friend and my oncologist there is something that will help. It's a mixture of mylanta, benadryl and nystain. Pour a small mixture of that in a small cup swish for several minutes; it does help at least it did me.

I had a GI Dr ask me about tongue pain. They said it can be a sign of liver problems. You may want to ask your DR to check your liver functions.

Well I had a liver biopsy that some things but nothing conclusive. I'm having a MRI next week to put this thing to rest whatever it is. My liver levels were good from my lab work so we will see. Thanks for the info
