Thyroid eye disease

I have had thyroid eye disease for about 50 years. I has a couple of decompression surgeries and lid surgeries. I now have cataract in one eye. I’ve heard that cataract surgery is easy, but I’m concerned because of my pre existing eye disease. Has anyone with TED had cataract surgery?
