Thursday 4/24 Rochester Mayo
On Thursday, April 24, join us near the Mayo Clinic building in Rochester from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. as we walk alongside Rory Londer, an extraordinary five-year stage 4 lung cancer survivor, for his annual walk of gratitude. Each year since his stage 4 lung cancer
diagnosis, Rory has walked to celebrate his survival and personally thank the doctors, nurses, and care teams who helped save his life. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S. and a low survival rate if not caught at early stages. This year marks a major milestone — five years cancer-free — let’s walk with him, cheer him on, and celebrate hope in action.
“These support services mean no one has to walk this journey alone. Education, compassion, and connection can make all the difference. I walk to say thank you — and to show others that survival is possible.” - Rory Londer
Rory inspires medical professionals, supporters, and lung cancer advocates to join him throughout the walk. The public is welcome to stop by, share a message of encouragement, and show that survival is possible.
