Thanksgiving and food besides the turkey without gravy what else do you eat? Or you just chuck it for the day?

I do not have mctd, but I have multiple medical conditions that cause me to follow 5 limiting diets. My limitations are: carbs, fats dairy, high oxalate foods and fiber. I am not sure what your limitations are, but if they offer rice dressing, cooked vegetables and have a good relish tray I can make a meal of that with whatever meat is offered (usually). I do not have salt restrictions, to that is helpful. If nothing else, you may need to take a plate along for yourself so you can eat without feeling ill afterward. Last holiday our host served soup with a beef broth. I took along cooked rice and spooned some of the broth over it. My husband fished some beef and vegetables out of his bowl for me.
