Think I may have blood clot from BC, should I go to doc?

I switched birth control from DEPO to a low hormonal pill, but my body is still adjusting 6 months in. I have long periods of spotting and long periods of no cycle and it's caused my B12 to go down a lot (it was already never that high to begin with).

I feel I saw my results come back that I was at risk of clotting, which makes sense given the situation. While I can't find those exact words in my results I did look into lower test results regarding my blood and did see that it signified an increase chance of clotting.

I had a normal day today, but woke up again at 4 am (for some reason). While listening to music I realized I had a full pain in my knee. Well, the side of my knee area. It's on and off but it's a dull throbbing feeling. I figured it would go away as I normally have restless legs during sleep (usually my right leg which is conveniently the leg I'm having issues with).

I feel like I've had this kind of pain before, I'm uncertain but I think so. But with this birth control thing, my test results, and with me having to start taking liquid B12, I'm starting to wonder if I should be concerned. I have a pretty sedentary life style (office job, gamer, like to drive), so there's a lot of things that I feel could be compounding my worry. I've since taken an Advil, I hope I didn't make things worse, the discomfort (dull and slightly annoying) is starting to go down a little. Nothing swollen, no heat, some relief with certain leg movements.

Should I go to a doctor? Am I overreacting? I really don't want to go, I have a long drive in the morning to an event I've been looking forward to, but idunno now. I am also in my mid 20's, so I'm younger. Sorry for the long post, pls help?

@kai1623 You are concerned enough about the blood clot and knee pain to write about it and probably should at least call your doctor. Best to know and not wonder. Did you check the list of side effects from taking the new birth control?

Not that I can see. There is a possible side effect of joint pain, but it's listed under unknown correlation pretty much. There's only really one side effect I'm having and that's the bleeding/spotting. But you're right, I probably should call.

ANY concern of blood clot needs to be an urgent trip to the Emergency Dept! Blood clots in your body can break off and travel to your lungs and be life threatening. A friend of mine just had similar experience, went to the ED, didn’t have a blood clot but the doctor thanked her for coming in! We are all guilty of rationalizing health issues but this one needs attention!
