Therapy break good plan ?

For two years I have had continuous treatment for stage 4 metastatic bladder cancer . Five different therapies. My oncologist has suggested we take a ‘therapy break’ for 3 months, to be followed by a scan. I am very uneasy about this plan. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation?
