I don't know of a text to speak...hmmm. But it seems plausible.

@merrychristmas Do you have difficulty with speech due to a neurological condition such as a stroke? Parkinson’s disease? I ask this because I wonder if a referral to a speech-language pathologist would be helpful for your communication with others such as your daughter.

Communication is a two-way interaction between two or more people. This means that the “burden” of communication shouldn’t completely fall on just one person in the interaction. It’s most helpful if the two people work together to figure out what will be most helpful for both of them.

Speech-language pathologists specialize in an area called “Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Digital technology is continually updated and so it can be difficult to figure out how to communicate with a device or app on your own.

Here is something to read on this topic. If it appeals to you might ask your primary care physician to refer you to speech-language pathology. Most private insurances will cover the service and I know from experience that speech-language is covered by Medicare.
