@was. We aren't medical professionals here at Mayo Clinic Connect so we cannot interpret test findings or offer medical advice. We can share our own stories if that's helpful, make suggestions of what to talk with your doctors about and provide support.

Have you talked with your doctor who ordered this test? Your doctor knows your medical history including a history of ovarian cancer in your family and so is in the best position to help you understand the results of tests. If you haven't yet talked with your doctor, do have access to a patient portal where you can message them and ask about these results? Many times the patient portal is the best way to get a quick response.

Will you do that today? I'm hoping that you get a very fast response to ease your worries.

Thank you for your reply. I just spoke to my doctor and she said that she doesn't think it's cancer but we won't know until we get it out. Looking at the end of October for surgery.

@was. I’m glad you talked with your doctor and she gave you her impression of the results. Does that help you a little less nervous? How are you feeling tonight?
