Teriparatide medications and tinnitus

Has anyone else gotten new or worsening tinnitus from their teriparatide medication and if so, did it go away?

Yes and it is listed as a side effect. So many side effects with all of these meds.

I've had tinnitus in my left ear for years but since starting teriparatide 2 months ago the ringing has definitely gotten louder. And my right ear has a low ringing too. I hope it gets better when I'm finished with the meds. But it's a long road to get there.

I've had tinnitus in my left ear for years but since starting teriparatide 2 months ago the ringing has definitely gotten louder. And my right ear has a low ringing too. I hope it gets better when I'm finished with the meds. But it's a long road to get there.

@debracollins I realized that my tinnitus got worse when I took ibuprofen (another ototoxic drug), so now I avoid it as much as possible. It took a week or two, but my tinnitus has gone back to it's regular annoying level :+)
