@prashantnayal123,

You bring up an interesting conundrum here. We have had many members talk about tmj pain, but you mention that you do not have any pain. I would like to invite @pclaire and @cbs61752 back to Connect as they have previously discussed having sinusitis and could share if they have ever had issues with their jaw as a result.

Would you mind talking a bit more about your situation? Could you explain what sinusitis is a bit more? Have you discussed this symptom with a medical professional?

@prashantnayal123, it sounds as if you may need to speak with both your primary care provider and or your dentist. Unfortunately, we cannot diagnosis diseases or promise cures here on Connect. Have you thought about seeking a more recent opinion or a second opinion?

Have you ever got a mouthguard or ever ask your dentist or went to a oral surgeon to get treatment or to get a mouthguard. 🦷🦷🦷😱

I have had TMJ now for years. I had headaches, jaw soreness, jaw stiffness and the clicking and popping. I did have a night guard made by an oral surgeon many years ago, and used it for quite a while, but then stopped using it because it was hard to sleep with it in my mouth. I went without it for years. I know that I clench and grind my teeth at night because when I wake up, my jaw is so sore. I finally asked my dentist if she could make me a new one. It feels tight in my mouth (probably because it is new) but I am trying to be faithful and use it every night. It is still hard to sleep with it, but I am determined to continue using it to see if it will help me. I already have little indentations on it from my bottom teeth clenching it (It is for my top teeth). I know that I really need it and hoping for some improvement soon! Mary Ann from MA

Hi mabf3 maybe you should ask your dentist to adjust it or ask her to send you to a TMJ specialist. A couple years ago I got a MRI done on my jaw and found out I was bone on bone with my ouch it hurts. Did you have surgery for if your bone on bone please get a thorough examination for your TMJ. You can use ice and heat for your TMJ too and rub rub your jaw in a circle of her 5 minutes and you can pull your jaw your mouth to decide for 5 minutes to pull it to the left for 5 minutes. Would your mouth guard you can put your two small fingers on your bottom teeth and your thumb up to your roof and hold for 5 minutes and do that for five times a day. I want some of the stretches I learned from a TMJ specialist it does help but. If you're not going on bone on bone. You could try a muscle relaxer to that helps to relax your muscles if you want to try meds or you could try to do other relaxing meditations prayers and best of luck 🙏🙏🙏🪥🪥🪥
