TBS in Oregon

Does anyone who lives in Oregon ( or even Washington) know of a facility that can do trabecular bone scans on existing DXAs? My endo has called around with no luck so far.

Happy to help! I don't know if they can read TBS from old DEXA's, so if you happen to discover that please let me know. Regardless, I am quite grateful to have the bone quality part of the equation available to me now and in the future.

No, I called them and I would need to have a DXA with them, which I am quite willing to do and pay for. I am at the point at which I was going to have another DXA to evaluate lifestyle changes I have made. The brand of the machines is different, but I’m still going to proceed so I can have a more complete picture as I decide about next steps.

@jasperina, I phoned Mount Baker Imaging in Bellingham Washington a few months ago to confirm they do offer a DEXA with TBS after I saw the clinic name on medimaps. I didn't ask about a TBS on existing DXAs. Perhaps Mount Baker Imaging has clinics in other cities or states closer to Oregon? Bellingham isn't far from Canadian border where I live. I hope things work out for you.

Thank you very much. I appreciate the tip! Bellingham looks like a beautiful city, although I have never been there.
