Hey Sarge...I have no idea what the answer is, but I loved the question. 👍😁

@sarge15926, is your question about how long to wait after a specific type of treatment?

I waited until having had the meeting with a consultant after my final radiotherapy session, as long its not near the site of the radiotherapy treatment point. I've got a big anchor with the blue ribbon around it, Had mine on the bottom part of the arm. Had lots of comments asking why, helped my mental state of mind and it gets the message across , get checked out

I don't have a tattoo. That was just from Google Image Search.

Colleen asked a good question.... do you mean when is it safe to get a tattoo after surgery/radiation or did you mean when do you consider yourself cured enough to be considered a "survivor'?

I will never get one as this cancer has a way of coming back years later. I will never know when I am done. Doc gave me a 70:30 chance of never having to revisit this again. I don't want to get crushed by my expectations. But with that said, you be you and do as you choose. Best wishes.

@chippydoo I agree that’s about it. Cancer is funny like that. Not funny haha, funny in a bad way.
