Hello @pworley1955, I'm pretty sure you are not alone with Tardive Dyskinesia symptoms. @pworley1955, @tsch,
@diegratiatimothyrcanada, @bustrbrwn22 and others have mentioned Tardive Dyskinesia as a side effect of certain medications and may have some information to share with you.

Certain medications can cause tardive dyskinesia. Have you discussed the symptoms with your doctor?

Yes, I WAS suffering from it, after taking Abilify for many years, which my doctor said caused it. I was told there was no cure - just more medication, I guess, to control it. Before I was diagnosed with the TD, I had already stopped the Abilfy, but, according to the doctor, years of taking it was the cause. Now, it appears I no longer have TD……very weird, indeed, and this was after suffering for several years. Originally, I was told there was no cure, so who knows what really happened? The human body is a really strange “animal,”.

I'vd just been officially diagnosed with TD. I was on prochlorperizine for years and came off it a few months ago. I have excessive tongue movement in my mouth and some lip movement. It may have triggered the horrible Burning Mouth Syndrome I have. Going on Ingrezza any day

Welcome @kthlngrateful, I'm sorry to hear that you also have Tardive Dyskinesia along with the Burning Mouth Syndrome. What has helped me with my different autoimmune and other health conditions is learning as much as possible about them and what different treatments might help. Not sure if you have already seen the Talk About TD website but they have a list of different resources you might find helpful: https://www.talkabouttd.com/tardive-dyskinesia-td-resources.

How long have you been dealing with the TD and Burning Mouth symptoms?
