Symptoms of final days of metastatic prostate bone cancer

Dear Sirs:
When I sat down with my second opinion Doctor on whether or not to have surgery or to go another route. My first question to him was, "What if I do nothing, what is my outlook?" He was flabbergasted but quickly responded that he didn't think I needed a Urologist, but I need a Psychatrist! He strongly convede that in his over 50 years of medicine one does all one can with all of ones might to fight off end stage prostate cancer! He spoke painfully about his early years and the many men he had seen dying in complete agony as their bones broke as they tried to move in their bed and even while breathing at the end of their lives.
I am a catholic and do see a benefit in sacrificing and offering up pains for souls. But, I pray and hope that all men who have pc will do their best in fighting off end stage pc, have a long, happy, thankful life and pass away peacefully in their sleep after telling their families how much they love them all. Remember, most men die of other causes because most pc is slow, slow, slow growing! Try not to worry about the future and miss your present. God Bless and you're in my prayers.
