@sue417 I wonder if a referral to and consult with an endocrinologist would help …?

Hi
My g.p. sent a referral but he denied it because I have hormone positive cancer and he said he can't treat me with anything.

@sue417 that must be so disconcerting!

When I was seeking anaesthesia for a hysteroscopy (attempt at one without anaesthesia failed because I was in too much pain) several referrals to gynecologists were rejected, and my doctor finally found one who agreed to do the procedure under anaesthesia.

Perhaps your doctor can try some more referrals to other endocrinologists till she finds one who might be willing to take on your case …?
