Switching primary Care

Posted by chopper67 @chopper67, 6 days ago

I was just wondering why Mayo Rochester would say you can’t change primary care location for a year ? I search before I called and it said you didn’t have too . I have no problem with current primary, it’s the location and construction going on that’s makes it difficult for me with my allergies and breathing problems. This what I found pertaining to this request. No, you do not have to wait a year to change primary care providers at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. You can change primary care physicians at any time, but it's recommended to first discuss your reasons for wanting a change with your current provider. If you still wish to switch after that conversation, you can explore other options within Mayo Clinic.
