Sweats
I had a left TKR 2017 and right TKR 2024. Before 2017 my night sweats, day sweats were gone. After a few months after the first TKR they returned really bad and finally by 2024 they subsided some what but came back again. I have asked my doctors and they have no answer. Am I nuts or what. I'm 75 and would like some answers. I think it's related to my TKR.

@timespast, No, you are not nuts. Total Knee replacement can do a lot of things to your body.
I had low blood pressure & high heart rate from it, anemia, contact dermatitis and eczema. The doctor did not think that was coming from the surgery, but, I know it was. I did sweat a lot at the onset, but, you could be having a delayed reaction. Blessings & Prayers....

1 Reaction@covidstinks2023 and timespast (@timespast) - Have you been checked for allergic reactions to anything in the replacements parts themselves? If not, it might be a good idea to find out the maker of the implant and what each part of it is made of.... sounds like your body doesn't like something in it.

@uisge I talked to Dermatologist and she said I wasn't allergic. There is no nickle in my replacement, but, titanium. I am going on 6 months and still breaking out with contact dermatitis and eczema and I have more creams to put on than Walmart can sell! LOL.
I am sensitive to almost everything and I thank you for this. I have broken out with stuff
before similar to this and it takes my skin a while to calm down.

1 ReactionI have sensitive skin, too - it's a bummer. (and allergic to glycerin on my skin, and it's in- you know, like practically everything. ugh).
I hope you can find and eliminate the cause of that reaction...
