Strange sudden short inhales like silent half-hiccups

I am 68 y old woman. I have strange sudden silent half-hiccups like sudden short inhales 15 times throughout the day ?
These complaints have been going on for 2 months. I have consulted with a cardiologist, a pulmonologist, an ENT, and a lung x-ray. Nothing is found. I don't know what to do and how to help myself.
Is there anyone else with similar complaints?

I did that at night . It was before I was diagnosed with COPD and put on oxygen . Be sure you are breathing regularly . I sometimes found myself holding my breath when I was doing a task that took concentration . It is an in voluntary response . I was puzzled too. I never spoke to anyone about it . I now think it was my body needing oxygen. Keep asking your doctor or get to a pulmonologist. I should have had oxygen long before I got it . It actually let my disease progress without any help . Blessed Be, Crystalena

Thank you for your response. I visited a pulmonologist. I have a lung X-ray. The pulse oximeter shows high oxygen levels. I might also do a CT scan. Be blessed."

I also had an angioplasty to check for blockage. I think that can affect the passage of amounts of blood to the lung . Lung X-rays and CT’s won’t show that. If it’s only at night - it might have to do with your body position . I have a friend that tells me her husband does that at night . He however does have copd.
