Strabismus treatment with Botox

Hello all. I’m new to this group. I have strabismus in one eye. I had surgery several years ago to correct it. Although the end result was very good, it returned. The recovery for this surgery was painful and long. I recently learned that there are ophthalmologists who are treating this condition using Botox. However, I have been unable to locate such a provider. I reside in Long Island, NY and would really love to connect with a provider in this area.

Has anyone been treated with Botox for this condition and if so, what was your experience like? Does anyone know of ophthalmologist in Long Island, NY who provide this treatment. It is significantly less invasive then surgery and I understand that there is no down time. Thank you greatly.
