nikde000007,
pain can ruin everything. There must be a cause. The only things that strike me as possible are pancreatitis and gallbladder issues. You just can't stop looking for cause. You have to go through all the doctors like sand. Find the one that knows. At least out there. https://symptoms.webmd.com/

nikde000007, you have to keep seeing doctors, someone will figure it out. I'd start with a contrast CT. If your pain is entirely abdominal keep a chart of when it is worse. You might have more extensive blood work. If your endoscopy and complete blood count isn't recent, have them repeated. You don't mention a metabolic panel. At least measure for amylase and lipase. Because of the location and because it moves it seems digestive, but may not be. You may find a doctor who says--I've seen this before, or you may get a doctor really good at investigating.

Hello @nikde000007,

@gently shared some useful suggestions and hope for continuing to seek out specialists until the root of your chronic pain is found. I'd like to add Mayo Clinic's Pain Rehabilitation Center as a potential resource for you as well, https://www.mayoclinic.org/departments-centers/pain-rehabilitation-center/sections/overview/ovc-20481691.

@nikde000007, managing chronic pain can be difficult both physically and mentally, while you continue to seek information on the cause, have you found anything that has helped distract you from your pain?

Hi @nikde000007, I am so, so sad that you are needing to write this post because of having so much pain. I agree with @gently that you have options and you made a step in the right direction by reaching out here. You can do this!

I also like @JustinMcClanahan’s recommendation to look into Mayo Clinic’s Pain Rehab Center. I know someone who went to their pain management program and he made fantastic improvements to his quality of life.

You mention pain ruining your life. Is your pain isolated to your stomach? Do you have family or friends that can walk through this with you?

REPLY

@nikde000007 you don’t mention any other symptoms associated with your stomach pain? Any belching, heartburn, diarrhea, constipation, pain associated with any specific food intake? Does it get better or worse with eating? Does fluid intake help, hurt, etc? Any family history of GI illnesses? Do any of the OTC upset stomach medicines help (Pepcid, peptobismal, etc)? Have you seen a doctor yet?

@bmwbmw814, I believe this is the Mayo Clinic Symptom Checker for abdominal pain that you are referring to: https://www.mayoclinic.org/symptom-checker/abdominal-pain-in-adults-adult/related-factors/itt-20009075

I will tag here since it doesn’t look like @nikde000007 has been on Connect recently to see yours and other helpful comments.
