Still dealing with mucus

I am 1 year post radiation treatment for stage 3 tonsil cancer. I am still dealing with constant mucus and it's still very irritating. Are any of you who are at least 1 or 2 year post treatment free of this nuisance?

I’ve been using Guaifenesin; an expectant for years, even before I completed radiation and chemotherapy for tongue cancer. It’s been 32 weeks since competing treatments. I eat very spicy ramen and add sweet chili sauce. I’ve noticed many people can’t do spicy, and in the early stages of recovery I couldn’t either. It seems to be helping my sense of taste too.

Yes! I have been told it's the new normal. However, it does getter better over time. They told me to consistently use rinses to keep mouth clean. I had SCC tongue and lymph node almost 3 years out. It's a nasty one indeed!
