Stereotactic Biopsy
I found out I have a brain tumor in February of this year. It’s been a journey because it’s near my amygdala and brain stem. We finally decided it’s time to get a piece in a few days and they are doing a stereotactic biopsy to get a piece of it. I know the risks we discussed are minimal, but being a mom of some pretty young kids I can’t help but be nervous and scared. Anyone else go through this? What was it like? They are sticking the needle right through my cerebellum.

My husband had a stereotactic biopsy also. He was old- 86, but he sailed through the surgery without complications and recovered well from the procedure. Good luck!
My faughter is 34 with a two year old. She is a survivor of a tumor by her brain stem. Be strong and stay in the moment, the now, with your sweet kids.
Ill send a prayer for you and good vibes too. The brain has an awesome way
of recovery 👍 have a great day today.
