Not enough bone for screws to put in decompression spacers. What next?

Probably not what you want to hear, but keep talking to Dr's and research what they are telling you so you can keep asking questions.
If the Dr. doesn't want to spend time to answer them move on to another one.
Make sure that your expectations are realistic for the procedure recomended.
Sometimes the Dr.'s idea of a successful surgery can be totally different than yours.

@jlssurplus - Great review of the spinal world and its complexities My stenosis prevents me from playing Bocce in my retirement complex, It is a great letdown from playing very competitive handball for over 40 years which appears the root cause of my issues At 82 years old there appears no magic and surgery might be a good choice for someone a decade or more younger. My garage is filled with walkers(rolling Stock) and I will persevere and enjoy my evening cocktail.

Wow, handballl is hardcore. I played competitive racquetball when younger, tried handball but all I got was sore hands.

Spent most my life doing physical work and both parents have degenerative disc issues so I am looking at a 3 level fusion at this point after exhausting all other treatments.

Its hard when you are used to doing everything for yourself your whole life. Haven't played golf in a couple years so I get it.

My rolling stock consists of 4 canes (I always misplace them), Rolling Walker, 4-Wheel Electric scooter with a trailer hitch carrier, (Made it to 3M pro golf tournement a couple weeks ago) Folding electric scooter that can travel on airplane and my wife has her own walker as she has had 6 fusions.

We are quite the pair when going anywhere, but still trying to enjoy as much as possible one day at a time.
