At a Loss – Severe Abdominal Pain and No Answers
It has been a very rough month. I started having severe pain in my upper abdomen a week before Christmas. 2 days before Christmas I had my appendix removed and then 3 weeks later my gallbladder removed (they believed this to be the cause of all of my pain) ever since I have been having severe stomach pains that ate worse then the pains I started with. I have lost almost 22 pounds in a month due to the inability to eat and I feel as though I am wasting away. I am feeling so hopeless and so depressed and I just don’t know what to do anymore because doctor’s seem to be at a loss while my pain just keeps growing. I have never felt this down before and I don’t know what to do about it

@parus I'm so sorry for all in pain it is terrible you can't get pain meds .When I fractured my back actually my chiropractor found it he,s the one that sent me to hospital I didn't know I fractured it thought he could take care of it but the worker comp Dr got involved then After you get the x-rays and Orthopedic Dr see,s them hopefully he will perscribed something keeping fingers crossed
I'm so sorry you have so many problems finding relief from your pain. I wish there was some way I could help you, but apparently giving you support here is the only way I can. Perhaps the x-rays will provide an answer as to why you're in so much pain, and the doctor will be able to prescribe a pain med for you. I know I can't take any NSAIDS for a couple of reasons, so the alternative is Tramadol, or Marijuana. I think I may be allergic to Marijuana now. I take as little as possible just to get by, and Tylenol. I'm going to check to see if I can get a new prescription for Tramadol. It is the best for my pain which is infrequent but occurs more often now than before. I'm hoping the best for you Parus. Keep painting and drawing.
I guess my husband makes too much money
Things are getting worse I now have uncontrollable diahrea and vomiting I can't eat or keep anything down. I am not near a mayo clinic as I live in Wisconsin
@hgram If your vomiting and diarrhea go to Urgent care
@hgarm I agree with @lioness. If you vomiting and diarrhea are uncontrolled and getting worse, please go to your nearest emergency department right away.
Yes, go immediately to Urgent Care.
