Kind of scary, not sure what the side effects will be.

Glad your husband is doing well, i'm still not sure how well mine is working, I've just had my 3rd treatment.
having lots of joint pain, hips, shoulders, back, and headaches. fortunately I'm still able to work. I'm taking a lot of pain meds.
I can't be leave how expensive this has been. I'm over $250,000 in medical bills since February! I can see how this can really break someone. So, glade I have the VA covering it. They have taken responsibility for my cancer since I was stationed at Camp Lejeune during the time they had the bad water.
My husband had great results from the immunotherapy drug, nivolumab.
He had to take Allegra and a Cortizone cream because of a rash, but it was controllable.
immunotherapy, not doing too bad.
fatigue, itchy, joints hurt, started having Kidney pain but not sure if that has anything to do with it. Only got sick once but vomited up a little blood. the pills I got for when I start feeling sick help a lot.
Took the week off work so I didn't have to worry about my reaction.
Going to try Acupuncture for the stress and joint pain. used to do it before and worked great.
Could be worse, happy if this is all I have to deal with.
They are saying I might have to start going every 2 weeks after my first 4 treatments and I go to 1 of the drugs instead of the 2 I'm doing now. Not looking forward to that, they have problems sometime drawing blood now so having it done 6to 8 times a month will suck.
@ronc531, what treatment are you on? How are you doing?
This too shall pass.
I had my kidney surgery last December 2024, they removed 10% of right kidney. Now going thru MRI, 4 times this year and twice next year.
