Stage 4 AdenoCA of esophagus

My mom is 67 and had barretts turned stage 4 esophageal CA. She did chemo (folfox did not work and 2nd line had minimal results) but ultimately the chemo caused diverticulitis -- her colon perforated and she had to get surgery to remove her colon... when is enough enough? She can't eat anything but liquid... She is considering hospice now. I am trying to be supportive but also should I be her fighting voice? Is there a support group of online therapy for people with this cancer she can speak with to know she's not alone? Anyone else have any thoughts/ similar stories I can share with her? She is very against getting a stent bc she is concerned for another complication.
