Squamous cell esophageal cancer at the junction.
Has anyone else had treatment for squamous cell esophageal cancer? My husband was diagnosed in November, but due to an infection from his G-tube (placed at a different hospital) he hasn’t started treatment. Just wondering what to expect.

What stage is he? What are the Drs proposing?
When they diagnosed it, it was stage 2. But that was 2 months ago. He had to have skin grafts to repair his abdomen after the infection. So, we had to wait until the grafts healed. We are scheduled for a PET scan on Friday.
