Spinal Stenosis is complicated. It depends on so many variables, Where, the structural issues, etc., etc. Important to understand. I have alot of spinal stenosis especially, but not only, L5,S1 which I understand is common. I have had good manual PT to help depress my spine and build my core. It is important to have Core strength with includes hip muscle strength so that the spine is braced. Now that I have completed almost a year of PT for my spine twice a week, I do Personal Training twice a week and my Physical therapy stretches everyday, my physical therapy exercised on the day I don't do personal training. My back work at home has bc part of my maintenance and care of my body like washing my face and brushing my teeth. Hope this helps.
Training myself in the Gokhale Primal Posture Method eliminated my back pain without surgery.
I became involved in the Boot Camp Program at Mt Sinai Hospital in Toronto led by Dr Carlos Ammendolia.
Difficult but rewarding and definitely worth the 8 week program.
Need to do the spinal exercises for life.
