I am scheduled to have a spinal meningioma intradural tumor removed on 6-2-25. Very nervous! Anyone else have this done? Your thoughts, please.

I LOVE my Dr! He's a neurosurgeon. Tumor was benign. Two nights in hospital. More painful than I anticipated , but pain meds helped but was on them longer than I thought. Doing PT now. 8 weeks post op

Definitely go to a neurosurgeon with experience. Excision of intramural tumor with laminectomy T7-T9.
I was terrified too, but was well taken care of.

The unknown is so scary. Did you have problems walking? I have to use a cane. Do you know what size yours was?

Did you need any hardware put in?
