someone please help i feel sick to my stomach

Posted by @hatemystomach in Digestive Health, Jul 18, 2012

Hello, ever since i was 15 years old ive had problems with constipation. i have made a conscious effort to change my diet and to add physical activities to my daily life. however, the change in diet did not help much. in fact, i feel better when i dont eat.i went to my family doctor who suggested i eat better, drink more water, and exercise more; i responded with "been their done that, help". I forced him to send me to do a colonoscopy, even though he was hesitant he did. My colonoscopy results came back with no results. I kept feeling more sick, with nausea, acid reflux, pain in the upper middle of my stomach, no bowel movement, fatigue, pain in mid right section of my stomach, bloated, constant gas, inability to digest foods, food reflux, unable to sleep, while laying down acid or food would come up, iam unable to loose weight no matter what i do and the list goes on.most of the time i dont want to eat anything. i dont know where to turn or who to turn to. i drink psyllium and aloe vera which help me go maybe 2x a week, i take papaya enzymes and zentac to help with nausea and acids. i also got a food allergy test which resulted in me being allergic to yeast, eggs, shellfish, nuts amongst other things. I am now seeking a naturopath. can someone please tell me what i might have or recommend anyone in toronto who might be able to help please. desperately seeking help.

Wow, sorry that you are going through this and for so long a time ! A few thoughts to try to help..... The symptoms you are describing could be that you have one or more parasites. I know that sounds unreasonable, but I watched a naturopath Dr. on television one time about 5 years ago and I remember she said that constipation and severe indigestion can be caused by parasites, and that is the first thing she would check on her clients. Don't give up and don't let a Dr. tell you there is nothing wrong ...... one time I was really sick in my early 20's and I had to go to 5 Dr.'s before one found the problem ! All the best !

Hello Kathi,
Thank you for your response. I have thought of a parasite, to be honest i dropped the idea right away because it seems so far fetched..but anything is possible. However, I will inquire about that on monday when I go see a naturopath. I am hoping and praying she can shed some light into this matter. Up to now, Ive diganosed myself through extensive research. All of the test that have been done to me were forced by me.

Hello, I am guessing that you have not tried the healthy way of eating that Dr. John McDougall prescribes for absolutely everyone. drmcdougall.com
Most doctors prescribe pills. This doctor prescribes healthy food and drink, one which helps patients completely go off all pills. However this way of eating is not for everyone- only those smart enough to realize you must give up your unhealthy food addictions. Best of luck. http://peopleforplants.blogspot.com/

Hi sorry that you have been having such problems. It's only a suggestion maybe ask your dr to refer you to a gastroentologist a dr who specializes in probelms with the stomach, In reference to the parasites please don't be alarmed by this. A friend of mine daughter had this and contracted it through being in south africa. I don't think that it would go on for years without being detected she became very sick very quickly and they found the parasite straight away. Please take care and let me know how things are going Piglit

Hello,
Thank you for your kind words. I am going to see a naturopath this monday. If I get helpful suggestions I will post them , it might help others diagnose their issues. Its so unfortunate how we have access to doctors yet no one ever finds anything wrong and we continue to get more sick.

Hi there, I really am sorry for what you are going through...I would ask that you would please accept what I say in the spirit that I am telling you...which is with love. I do not mean to sound critical.
I am bothered by your user name 'hate' my stomach...and also, you used the word 'forced' several times. I am wondering, as Kathi asked you, if you did suffer some kind of trauma...because 'something' is wrong here... Its like you are fighting something...and anger can make and keep us sick.
I am well aware that parasites COULD easily be a problem... and I am glad you will be seeing a naturopath.
I know that pain can do horrible things to the mind and spirit...believe me, but it just seems to me there is 'something' there that needs addressing. Would you possibly be willing to visit with a counselor?? You deserve the BEST of everything!... so do for yourself everything that you need to do. Good luck to you!

Hi, sorry that you have been having stomach problems. But I hope that I can help you, I have the same problem due to Colon peristalsis , you need more fibre in your diet and drink more water. And also there is a good thing to do which is Colon hydrotherapy it is good to clean the colon. But ask doctor before doing it . Actually I did the colon hydrotherapy it was fine , but the must thing you must care about is you diet and you must manage it . I hope you will be fine and I hope that I gave you useful things to go with. God bless you.

dear hate my stomach. First off, I am no physician, but I have experienced what you are going through. I do sympathize with you, chronic GI problems are the pits. When your GI tract is not functioning properly your whole body feels TOXIC. That's the only way I could describe it to my Dr.s
My first thought when reading your post was Gallbladder. Gallstones can cause a multitude of problems. Then, some of your symptoms suggest Hiatal Hernia.
Have you ever had an Endoscopy done? This could tell you if you do have a hernia. May I suggest that when you look for a Homeopathic practitioner you look for one who is also an licenced M.D. They do exist. You might also consider establishing with a GI dr.
I believe that it is possible to over-remedy our systems. Taking multiple remedies for multiple symptoms can also toxify your system.
Hind sight is always 20/20 as they say. But if this were me I would concentrate on the Gallbladder and hernia possibilities.
God be with you and bless you and your dr.s with wisdom for your relief.
