Small Fiber Neuropathy onset from Epidural?
Anyone with Small Fiber Neuropathy onset from Epidural?
I had a CSF leak, 3 blood patches and after the 3rd I had a sudden onset of thoracic radiating burning pain on my right side, wrap around from pelvis to under armpit.
Added context on myself:
Incomplete C4-C5, Brown-Séquard Syndrome, My full right side sensory loss, then the CSF leak, 3 blood patch & right thoracic onset.
Tarlov cysts in Thoracic and Sacral.
Diagnosed with SFN, finally only took them a year.
However, they are not willing to acknowledge onset could have occurred as a result of the procedure.

Welcome @xopiink, Sorry to hear you had a sudden onset of peripheral neuropathy. I did find an older article on the topic that might explain what happened.

I’ve been told by my family o physician that nothing can be done about this, and that I will have this until the day I die.Some diagnosis eh!!Does any one out there have any other answers other than using Dilaudid, almost every night.Graham
